When and where can I drop off my equipment?
Businesses & Individuals can drop off to our location at the corner of North 14th and Main Street at 1400 Main Street, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 4 pm. The CACRC has weekly staff meetings every Monday morning from 8:30 am – 9:30 am at which time our store and drop offs are closed.
How can I guarantee my information is secure?
The CACRC wipes all hard drives clean whether it is requested or not during the first 24 hours it is at our location using software. If hard drives are inoperable they are physically destroyed. Certificates of Destruction are available upon request in our store front.
How can I get tax credit?
Businesses or Individuals can request a tax voucher upon request in our store front.
Where do I drop off my equipment once I've arrived at CACRC?
Main Street is a one way street going away from downtown and the Mississippi River. North 14th Street is also a one way street. Those donating computer equipment and traveling down Main Street will need to circle the building by making a right hand turn on North 18th Street, another right turn onto Laurel Street and finally a right turn onto North 14th. Our Warehouse gates will be open and our staff will unload your vehicle.
Are there any charges?
If you have any CRT's or printers, please go inside our store front/office on Main Street. We do charge the following:
Business - $7 per CRT and $3 per printer, scanner or fax machine.
Individuals - $5 per CRT and $3 per printer, scanner or fax machine.
What if I don't have CRT's or Printers?
If you DON'T have any of those items you can simply drop off to our warehouse which is located on North 14th Street.
What does the CACRC recycle?
Computers, monitors, printers, speakers, power cords, keyboards, mice, VGA cables, other cords/cables, VHS players, DVD players, stereo equipment, CD players, phone systems, cell phones, video game systems (Xbox, Playstation, etc.) and anything with a circuit board.
Are there any items you don't take?
We DON'T take TV's, copy machines or any household appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, etc.).
Who does recycle TV's?
Best Buy does take TV's up to 32 inches but they charge $10 per item and give you a $10 gift card. Please call them for more information. Customers can bring in two items per day. Tube TV's are accepted but there is a fee based on location. Projectors and Flat Panel (LED, LCDE, Plasma, etc.) TV's of any size are also accepted.

They pick up copiers but they take them on a case by case basis depending on the functionality of the copier, make/model and quantity.
Who recycles CD's, cassette tapes, DVD's, VHS tapes, video game cartridges, etc.?
